I also use a combination of Logitech trackball and Logitech trackpad so that I can alternate between peripheral inputs. I use a program called display fusion to manage resolutions, window opening and placement and window controls. Until windows 10 (I still run 8.1) dual monitor operations and scaling was poor. I have settled on one landscape and one portrait. Both in landscape mode definitely did not work, as the set up was too wide. I experimented with different set ups and am still not convinced that dual is the best for me. I will change my set up shortly to reflect this. Maybe it is best to set one monitor for editing and the other other purposes such as document viewing / reading etc. Even though I have both calibrated, I only ever use one monitor for editing and therefore the 2nd calibration setting is rather superfluous. The software with this unit only allows one monitor to be calibrated, but that can be worked around by renaming the file before calibrating the 2nd monitor. The OS should not make much difference with the hardware calibrator. However, since you have a Eizo it is better to use the ColorNavigator 7 for best results (since it can talk direct to the monitor to set LUTs etc).Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available) The Spyder 4 Elite should be supported via Displa圜al as an option so no harm in downloading a copy to try out (particularly for your non-Eizo monitor). Are you saying then that the Spyder 4 Elite will work under Catalina with ArgyllCMS/Displa圜AL and calibrate both monitors, please? Does ArgyllCMS replace ColorSync?ĭatacolor definitely isn't updating their software to support the Spyder 4 (see here), ColorNavigator 7 looks like it still works and is supported (see here) as an option. Please check out my fine art and travel photography at or on Instagram at PhilipCummins: The i1Studio software works fine on my iMacPro running Big Sur to keep my monitor calibration updated once a month. I have been using the X-Rite Munki for over 5 years now. Old post I know, but the closest I can find on the subject.
